Chapter 1 : The Dam That Gave Way to Quebec

Pigskimble! Smartylark!

Panadero says:
Well, it looks like I never got to finish my rant on animation. Oh well. Not much time to write anything today so I'll just say enjoy the comic.
Jeshii says:
What the hell? Where's the balck border? Where's the square? What is going on here?! Well, this is my art project, and I felt like making a comic book cover style one this time. So sue me.

Life's weird... I have this theory that all the mental disorders people have are actually acute versions of things everybody has. Like I don't have dyslexia, but I write things backwards sometimes and read them wrong and such. Also, I've been on a major emotional rollercoaster resently; good to bad, sad to happy, overwhelming joy to murderous rage. But I don't think I'm bi-polar or anything.

Also, please visit the Depressing Comics. So true. Not sure whether to cry or laugh. Good stuff.

Okay, I've got hours of Japanese to work on before I sleep, so I'll see you guys in a few days. Hope you like the comic. Sorry for the load time.

It's now time for your NBA news!

Okay, the Eastern Conference finals started yesterday, and the Sixers won the first game of that. I'm calling them to win the series, probably in about six or seven games. The reason: even with the recent emergence of Ervin Johnson as an inside presence, I don't think Milwaukee's defense is good enough. Philadelphia definitely plays defense, and I feel fairly confident that they can shut down the Bucks' primary scorers, or at least keep them less productive than they normally are.

Now for the outcome of game 2 of the Western Conference finals *drum roll*...Lakers win! I was right when I said the other day that I thought the Spurs could give us a good challenge (Duncan and Daniels threw everything they had at us), but I'm not sure about the part about the series going to six or seven games anymore. In fact, I'm starting to wonder if the boys of gold and purple will even lose a game in this series. The Lakers are sure giving me a reason to be happy amidst all the stupid schoolwork this quarter, but at the same time, they're really starting to scare me. Any team that has won 17 straight games (9 of them in the postseason, no less) is pretty damn godlike. If the Lakers actually win these next two games (which, by the way, are in LA), thereby winning the conference title, I might just have to found a Laker religion :).

But seriously, this is fucking amazing! With those two games won, the Lakers will have tied their own playoff record for 11 straight wins (in the 1989 postseason, I believe, after which they were defeated by Detroit in the league finals). Could the 2001 Lakers even become the first team to win a perfect 15 in the playoffs? That might be too much to hope for, but it sure is lookin' possible...
