Summertime, and I've got big things planned. Well not really all that big, but still larger than average. Jeshii, Rebel X, and I, along with many other friends in our circle plan to play plenty of Ultimate Frisbee games (some on the beach), so there are a lot of Saturdays and/or Sundays taken up right there.
Currently we have our annual summer hike set for June 30th, unless we have to further delay it due to conflicts in schedules. This will be the third time we will have gone though our "Death March to the Sea", which is basically a fifteen mile hike from our friend's house to Sunset and Pacific Coast Highway. It takes upwards of seven or eight hours, but it's a great way to stay in contact, get some exercise, and see some nice scenery. The aforementioned friend's mom will pick us up at the beach so we don't have to hike the fifteen miles back, which is a true blessing.
Jeshii may have a LAN party sooner or later, which would be my first. I'm definitely not a PC gamer; I prefer the self-contained and static nature of a console, and I find console games on the whole more entertaining. I do want to see what all the raving about Counter-Strike is about however, so I made sure to count myself in.
All that with the addition of planning to get my license has been set before me for this summer break, and I'll let you know about all of it (whether or not you care ;P).

Well, we didn't do a comic for Sunday. Bet you're wondering where that one went, eh? We'll never tell...actually, we forgot. But we're only human, after all.
On a rather sad note, the Lakers didn't sweep the playoffs after all; they lost the first game of the series to Philadelphia. However, they won the second and third ones, and if they win the next two, could still set an all-time best playoff record. And, even if they lose one more, they will have tied the current best playoff record. Frankly, I can't see them losing more than one of the upcoming games. Well, it could still happen, I mean, I saw Charlotte and Toronto playing each other in the Eastern Conference finals, I absolutely saw it, but neither team made it. Just goes to show you I have no clairvoyant powers, and I can't pretend to, either.
Another thing: I'm done with school, after a long, grueling year. I thought it would never end. Woohoo!! No more stupidass, busy work-assigning physics teacher to deal with! No more religious studies papers to write (I had five of 'em)! No more "general malaise" (as Jeshii so eloquently put it the other day when he described his tired, bored feeling)! I'm free!
