I've been into emulation for years now, but I only recently got a Sega Genesis emulator because I was (and still am) a Nintendo fanboy, so my time back in the early 90's was taken up with what I believed (and still believe to be) the better system, Super Nintendo. At any rate, I picked up the Genesis emulator and Sonics 1-3 just to see how they were. I don't know if it was the game design or the fact that they were classic 2d games -- I'd bet on the latter, seeing as how I'm still a large proponent of oldschool style 2d games. And yes, I plan on getting a Gameboy Advance -- but I really enjoyed playing them. It was almost a magical experience, if you will. Let's just say that I am very excited that Sonic Team is working with Nintendo, because Nintendo and Sega, regardless of sales, are still the best two console companies there are. I've uploaded a Genesis emulator and Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2 in the extras section for your enjoyment. Until Wednesday...
